MISSION STATEMENT
Wabaunsee County Sheriff's Office Mission Statement: To resolve community issues and problems through the fair and equitable exercise of constitutional authority, enforcement of laws, and resolution of conflict, tempered by the use of judgement, discretion and community standards.
A. The Office is responsible for providing for the protection of persons and property and the promotion of the general welfare of the citizens of Wabaunsee County through efficient and effective delivery of sheriff's services. The office protects the rights of all persons within jurisdiction to be free from criminal attack, to be secure in their possessions and to live in peace.
B. The Office exercises all duties and responsibilities relating to the enforcement of laws related to criminal conduct as defined by the Legislature of the State of Kansas.
